CIT 720 is an intermediate level course that focuses on methods for effectively integrating computer-based technology in teaching and learning. The course is an investigation into the uses of computers and computer-based technology in the classroom, integration of technology into teaching and learning process, using the principles of instructional design in the design of technology-rich learning environments, designing and developing technology-based instruction/learning materials for educational/training settings. Topics include learning theory & technology, instructional software, student and teacher productivity tools, hypermedia applications, and computer-based multimedia including Web-based learning.
